FineFood by Note Design Studio

Some designers are afraid to mix colors and prefer to use white as the base of their work, but Stockholm-based, Note Design Studio, has no such limitations. In one of their latest projects they proved once again that playing with color is a key element in the conception of a space.

Inspired by the series of photographs of Death Valley taken by Jordan Sullivan, and the soft colors exhibited in every picture, the studio created one palette with varied nuances of mint, dark green, and turquoise, contrasting with red salmon, which emerges in the environment of FineFood, in Hammarby Sjöstad.

The space is serene, cool and soft, which was a challenge due to the three spatial variants, since it’s a café, a restaurant and even a bistro. But in the end, FineFood became a dynamic space where functions blend and colors lead us into the Californian Mojave landscapes, not forgetting the minimalist, sophisticated and Scandinavian flavor of the Note Design Studio.
