The New York and Paris based design collective Études hasn’t been around for very long, yet has quickly become one of the freshest names in contemporary menswear. Founded in 2012, the collective creates pieces that look to where menswear is going, not where it is at the moment. The Autumn/Winter 2014 collection uses traditional suit and sportswear silhouettes but infuses them with a street edge. The collection is accompanied by the designers’ inspirations – from iridescent cellophane to old photographs. This is only their fifth full collection, and Études clearly has much more to show.
