We’ve been longtime fan of converted spaces into private homes. For this project in Leiden, Netherlands, architecture firm Atelier Space converted this schoolhouse from 1925 into a gorgeous light-filled family home.
Keeping most of the historical elements of the building such as the tiled floor, the doors and skylights, the home has 4-meter high ceilings and the huge windows to flood the spaces with natural light. After a courthouse, a medieval tower, a gas station or a Church, now it’s a gorgeous school that will welcome a happy family! 🙂
