Breaking the fourth wall of lookbooks, so to speak, French fashion house Chloé presents its Resort 2015 collection in a manner more dynamic than most. Walking to the side, front, along a diagonal or almost leaving the frame, models demonstrated the range of motion afforded by their clothes. Free from the shackles of so much of high fashion, these are pieces you can move around in: from swishy ankle-length silks to the flick of eyelash fringe on a blouse. Designer Clare Waight Keller took cues from Le Corbusier, the Swiss-French architect who pioneered modernism. That mood surfaced in the garment’s graphic bands, even on fur.
