Paüls Doctor Surgery is a small cement building located in Baix Ebre, Spain. It was built for use as a doctor’s office by Pere Buil and Toni Riba of Vora Architects. The firm integrated the structure into its surrounding landscape. The building consists of one floor only, like the neighboring buildings, so that it could be integrated seamlessly. The building is in line with the usual resources of the popular construction of the zone. Views to the calm of the mountains work to reduce possible anxiety during wait times while neutral natural lighting from the north side of the facade further accentuates the sense of serenity.
