Barragan-inspired Illustrations by Charlotte Taylor

Minimalist illustrations by a London-based artist, Charlotte Taylor, depict modernist buildings and interiors. Inspired by realisations by Luis Barragan or Ricardo Bofill, these pastel drawings reflect Taylor’s interest in the aesthetic rather than practical side of architecture.

Clean lines, strong shapes and light are key in her art while the composition of her works is often improvised. “Designing environments” is her self-proclaimed mission.
