Refusing to commit to one defining look, Band of Outsiders’ 2014/15 Fall/Winter collection is a versatile affair, yet all outfits ooze personality. Scott Sternberg’s cult LA label is keeping it fresh with what seems like a look for every state of mind. Some of the outfits are outwardly masculine – in keeping with the label’s grown-up tomboy appeal – and finished off with refined Oxford shoes. Others are consciously feminine, featuring lean vintage silhouettes. The beautiful tailoring and classic cuts are often offset by a quirky pattern or boxy outwear, making even down-to-earth items shine.
