The interior renovation of this apartment in Paris was a long way coming. After 40 years of the same old look the owners decided to bring in renowned designer François Champsaur to revamp the beautiful structure.
Set within the Trocadéro neighborhood of Paris, with views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine, the apartment already had a charm of its own with unique original architecture, which remained. Champsaur balanced his client’s wishes for a dramatic new look by defining the various rooms through a series of sculptural partitions, all while maintaining a timeless palette of oak, glass, bronze and marble. The result is a monumental, gallery-like space.
