Young graphic designer and illustrator from Saint Petersburg, Anastasia Bakusheva paid tribute to the legendary architect, Zaha Hadid, who passed away in 2016. She has created a poster series featuring 7 buildings designed by Zaha Hadid, celebrating Zaha Hadid’s distinctive style of deconstructionism. Using a colorful minimalist style of simple graphic shapes, Bakusheva has transformed the unique expression of each building into a simple illustration.
The series includes the following buildings: Heydar Aliyev Center, Phaeno Science Center, Maxxi Museum, BMW Central Building, Maggie’s Centre at Victoria Hospital, Vitra Station, and the London Aquatics Centre. Check out all the pieces below!
