Next door to Never Ending Summer, The Summer House Restaurant at The Jam Factory in Bangkok, offers wonderful views of the river through expansive picture frame windows with clinically clean lines and a stunning open kitchen. Renown Thailandese architect Duangrit Bunnag maintained so many of his design signatures, from the dangling lamps to the hanging ferns, that it almost resembles Never Ending Summer’s interior.
Just sitting on the comfy Zebra-striped armchairs and couches on the restaurant’s large wooden platform of a patio is worth whatever meals cost. The place begs for outdoor entertainment, and management promises music, dance, jugglers, and anything to enliven the night in the future.
