Matt Gagnon Amazing Light Stacks

Los Angeles based architect and designer Matt Gagnon has been working for years on his gorgeous “light Stacks” sculptures. Inspired by evening strolls through cities, they come all in various sizes composed of mixed, natural and artificial elements. The lights are scaled to the floor plate of the New York Times Building. Gagnon transformed Los Angeles’s THE NEW gallery into a miniature cityscape of floor lamps for “Material Relations,” on view last February to April 2018.
