Creative studio Masquespacio designed the first flagship store of Cuadernos Rubio, a Spanish publisher of educational books in Valencia. Founded by a schoolteacher in 1956, the company specializes in calligraphy and math-friendly notebooks for children, but later expanded to add lifestyle notebooks for adults.
For this trendy store interior the agency’s founders Ana and Chris chose small white tiles for floors and walls as a backdrop for the stations divided by transparent acrylic panels in vivid colors.
At these stations, visitors are invited to learn more about the products and history of the brand with modern technology like augmented reality goggles.
