Dive into Kkibo Founders Ceremonial World of Fashion

A place to design and finally call home

Founder and designer of the fashion and home goods line KKIBO, Jo Abellera was inspired by pieces that are easy to wear and 70s macramé, Jo draws from the anthropological work of Joseph Campbell, concluding that “what we wear can be ceremonial and mark something important.

Jo and her family decided to move two hours outside of Los Angeles to the San Bernardino Mountains, allowing them more creative flexibility without the financial and social pressures of the city. Beyond Kkibo, this documentary is a portrait of a family pursuing an artful life together.
