The Bellhop Hotel located in Rotterdam’s old town hall is an energizing, joyful space conceived by Elida Mosquera and Jerome Picard from local – an architecture studio working between Bergen and Paris. The founders grew up in Curaçao and wanted to combine the restraint of Scandinavian design with vibrant Caribbean shades.
The goal was to create a multifunctional space made for organic dining, a pleasant coffee break and a comfortable, serene vacation stay with character. 15 hotel rooms make most of the natural light and minimalist furniture livened up with pops of color and textures such as cork and bamboo. Overlooking one of city’s main streets, The Bellhop Hotel is an optimistic, original hub for those searching for authentic, honest experiences.
