Who knew bullets could be so beautiful? Sabine Pearlman’s “Ammo” series takes an up close look at ammunition, presenting a cross section of 900 different types which the photographer shot from inside a Swiss WWII bunker. According to Pearlman, “the cross sections reveal a hidden complexity and beauty of form, [representing] evil and the beautiful, a reflection of the human condition.” The Austrian born and raised photographer now lives and works in Los Angeles.
