Surreal set design and a holographic take on furniture by Artur de Menezes. The Barcelona-based studio Six N.Five, known for its great art direction, has explored the futuristic space on the crossroads of photography and design. Here, the furniture were captured through an iridescent lens, creating an atmosphere of an experiment.
“Exaggerated and unexpected shapes appear as a strange but at the same time beautiful celebration of the mid-century Scandinavian design, leaded by its delighted and organic curves. Holographic materials and lights contribute to a surreal and almost unreachable result and it reflects our vintage narrative from a place that is not inhabited anymore.”
