Just when we thought we couldn’t love Scandinavian aesthetics anymore, Swedish band Junip made a creepy and bewitching video for their latest single, “Line of Fire”.
Directed by Mikel Cee Karlsson, the video tells the story of an old man, seemingly stuck in a relationship not of his choosing, with flashbacks to his earlier years. It also features a number of Nordics spacing out and staring at one another, much to our intrigue. As for the song, it’s a gorgeous mix of organs and José González’s acoustic Spanish guitar, paired with his haunting voice. The pastoral folk pop trio will release their sophomore, self-titled album this Spring.
