Swedish couple Sigbrit and Mats bought this summer house on an island in Roslagen about 30 years ago, and until recently they had to draw electricity into their cabin and walk down to the basement to get something out of the fridge because the kitchen did not have enough space for one. Well the time finally came that convenience won the battle and they decided t
o renovate their 1920’s getaway. They were keen on maintaining as much of the original charm and complimenting it with imported rustic wood cabinets from India and mixed and matched details. A very successful renovation indeed!
