With mathematics precision, everyone enjoys a good food photography series, but when the case is about surreal food photography like The Foodist Manifesto, the result is sky-rocketed. Martí Guixé, Alexis Georgacopoulos, Peter Marigold and photographer Daniel Stier, locked themselves inside the Museo d’Arte Moderna e Contemporaranea di Trento e Rovereto (MART) to shoot a set of images that looked like a fun kitchen gone a bit mental. “I wanted to create a set of images that’s pitched somewhere between a test kitchen and a science lab,” explains Steir. “With a bit of a mad-scientist twist.”
The Food Project runs through June 2 at MART – Thanks to Nowness for the tip!
