In the world of Pleunie Buynik, stones are flexible, liquid-looking and obedient to the creative owner.
For her graduation project at the Design Academy Eindhoven she made limber gems, a project consisting of 3 laying gems in circular shapes in the color of gold, dark green and golden orange. This elegant jewelry for the interior is bold and humble at the same time, reflecting its landscape and light. Made of a newly developed material containing rubber, the gems can be made in every size or shape, convenient for everything between a design shop and a reception waiting room.
The gems depend on the light to show off with their color versatility; copper and with rusty references. We believe the rich aesthetic of this design will make novel experiences in innovative landscapes.
