19-year old U.S. Olympic fencer slash model Race Imboden was named One to Watch in this week’s issue of Mr. Porter’s The Journal. In addition to the editorial, shot by Blair Getz Mezibov, included is a little profile in which Imboden shares how he was scouted by an agent in London, who saw him on the telly. “Next thing you know, I was on the runways. My first show was Duckie Brown. ” He also shares some insight on having a new found career path, “the biggest thing that worried me about getting into modeling was that I was going to have to wear some crazy things. It’s a shock to the system when you look in the mirror and see someone else.” Don’t worry Race, you’re looking quite nice.
