Minimalist Candyland

#MinimalBeirut is a series commissioned by Plastik Magazine in collaboration with Texas-based photographer Matt Crump.

The task of turning Beirut into a minimalist candyland is quite complex, as 25 years of war have formed a thick social fabric that often times overshadows the city’s beauty.

The project shows a different side of Beirut. One more vulnerable, more colorful, and quite versatile.
