Melissa Manfull’s Artwork

There are artists you admire for their acute attention to detail, and there are those you admire for free-flowing technique. Melissa Manfull, who works with ink, graphite, and pencil, is an artist admired for both. Combining one to three mediums per piece, Melissa’s work usually features architectural-style geometric structures, juxtaposed with sheer daubs of watery color. It’s hard to tell whether the L.A.-based artist—armed with a Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts—leans more towards having a well-thought out plan or just goes with the flow, but there’s no doubt her technique creates a perfect complement and work of art.
