Julia Fullterton-Batten is doing an exhibition at Jenkins Johnson Gallery. Her project, A Testament to Love is one of her most recent projects that encodes a loose narrative depicting the struggles of life when love goes wrong. The female protagonists wrestle with the search for a happy ending, but are resigned to loneliness, fear and regret. Each image is set against a cinematic background inspired by Hollywood films of the 1960s and 1970s, while referencing the work of Edward Hopper.
The opening reception is tonight January, 9th at the Jenkins Johnson Gallery.
