Learning from Mies Van Der Rohe “less is more”, Danish firm Norm Architects and design house Menu have created in Copenhagen Höst, a cozy space rooted in the Scandinavian tradition.
The restaurant, with a rural and modern design, features industrial lights, windows from an old hospital, along with green plants and woolen blankets, that give a softer touch to the place. In the kitchen all the ingredients are tied to the tradition, revealing a New Nordic Cuisine through a new approach. The dinnerware was created especially for Höst by Norm and Menu, following a minimalist and rustic vision, including white, blue and grey pieces.
