Handmade London is a photography project that captures London’s artisan scene in its full glory. The project was conceived and shot by Julian Love, a photographer based in the UK’s capital city. Love’s fascination with the vibrant scene of London’s independent craftsmen inspired him to start earlier this year what has become an ongoing project. Love shoots his subjects, which range from a textile designer to a salmon smoker, in their professional habitats fully immersed in their work. Love’s photographic treatment gives a theatrical flair to this hardworking and proud sub-culture.
