Franck Bohbot, a French photographer based in New York City, has an eye for turning unsuspecting landscapes and places into stunning works of photography. His ‘Swimming Pool’ series is an example of an how a seemingly ordinary space can be aesthetically pleasing if viewed from the right angle–bringing out shapes and dimensions that have been overlooked. With seamless lines, high ceilings, and consistent rectangularity all mirroring each other, the pool series conveys symmetry at its finest. The juxtaposition between various blues against shades of white and yellow gives each photo an energetic quality to them, showing that a pool will never be seen in the same way again!
