Drips and splatters have become a recent trend in aesthetics, but contemporary designer Damien Gernay takes it to the next level by creating pieces with dripping texture. Beginning with what he calls a “neutral form,” Gernay takes a pure white object and then applies the texture – in this case, wood. Gernay’s designs are highly conceptual and require much pre-production modeling. His work represents an interesting turning point in interiors, and we’re eager to see more conceptual pieces in the design world.
