“From his tiny hut deep in the forest, the philosopher saw how cold things grew hot, the hot cool, the wet dry and the parched moist…” So states the 2013 Bjørg “Odyssey” lookbook, reflecting on the eternal change and perpetual flux of nature. Precious specimens and vibrant opals grew from dark metals, wooden shapes and textures meet luminous substances, liquids and psychedelic colors. Bjørg has always managed to set the bar when it comes to otherworldly jewelry and visuals, the latest no exception, transmuting the seemingly contradictory states of dream and reality.
