I was a huge fan of Aquilano e Rimondi’s Collection for SS 2011 during Milan Fashion Week. The collection was bursting with key ingredients for spring. There was color, complex prints, flowing fabrics but also more tailored and constricted silhouettes. The collection had the 70’s laid back vibe with the 40’s conservative glamour. The combination of colors and satin sheen’s gave the collection the fierceness we associate with Italian fashion.
