From the first hit this track becomes an immediate reminder as to why music is THE universal language. Boston’s Whiskey Barons remix this gem off of the otherwise ordinary “Asalto Navideño Vol II” by modern salsa giant Willie Colon and singer Hector Lavoe. This salsa track get’s a dance floor makeover with a heavy kick and re-working on the composition, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, in comes the brass section. They parted ways in 1973 as a result of Hector’s battle with substance abuse. Hector passed away in 1993 and as for Willie, he still produces and tours the world.
