From their studio in Berlin to their factory in Switzerland, Stefan Rechsteiner and Patrick Rüegg believe that design and manufacturing coexist. It’s the vision behind their new footwear label, Velt. It utilizes conventional materials and classic methods for an everyday men’s shoe that you will want to keep forever. Look out for experimental laces, cut outs, different leather types and cool colors. Earlier this year, Velt received the 2013 Swiss Federal Design Award, having been recognized for its debut collection, out earlier this year.
