Tsolmandakh ”Tsolo” Munkhuu is a Mongolian-born, Paris-based womenswear designer. She moved to France in 2005 and studied at Atelier Chardon Savard. In 2010 she won the Public Award of the Hyères Festival and launched her own brand shortly after that.

Tsolo takes the inspiration from her native Mongolia and traditional Buddhist motifs and mixes them with urban elements. I really like the way she plays with the volumes of fabric and embroidery creating sculptural, dramatic shapes.
