Take two timeless movie stars, a slowly seductive and thrilling story of psychological suspense (quintessentially Hitchcock), and New York City, and you have perhaps one of the greatest, genre defining films of all time, this week’s trailer, Rear Window. Stewart stars as a news photographer, handicapped at home due to a broken leg, who luckily has Grace Kelly to check up on him, as he slowly descends into madness not having left his apartment for weeks. Not only does the film creep up on you, it will have you at the edge of your brain throughout it’s 115 minute runtime, offering you the chance to live out the sly fantasy of many New Yorkers – spying on their neighbors. If you haven’t seen it, make sure you do at least once. Those of you who have will definitely enjoy it again during these hot summer nights.
