Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs: Garden

Written by Guest Blogger Dana Kelly

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is a solo project from Oxford based artist Orlando Higginbottom – love the name.

      1. Garden

      2. Tapes & Money

Signed under Greco-Roman – a label owned/run by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, debut album Trouble features an eclectic blend of poppy-house and dance tunes which will take your mind into another dimension and upbeat for throughout your day. There are definitely influences of Goddards style in the tracks, but the talent is all organic. The beats are calculated and compliment his anti-climatic, steady vocals. Higginbottom has produced a number of EPs over the years which all offer feature tracks with remixes by talented artists like Chad Valley, Fake Blood, Casino Times, and Joe Goddard himself. It was with his dark hit “Tapes and Money” where TEED gained notoriety. Shortly following he released “Garden”  off Trouble in 2012, which was equally as catchy but shows a brighter side to TEED.
