The Type Scan Alphabet of German graphic designer Tony Ziebetzki is visually striking and uniquely impressive. Intrigued by the boundaries of typographic design and the possibilities of endless formations, Ziebetzki composed an illustrated alphabet of scanned carvings. Using only a scalpel and ruler, Ziebetzki sliced and folded paper into ribbons and curls. This cutting and scanning process generated a three-dimensional effect, which feels as if letters recede and advance from the page. With such bold and modern approaches to traditional design, Ziebetski is definitely one to watch.
