Enter Thom Browne’s world of fantasy, one unlike any other in fashion today. A world re-imagined each season in such detail that you can not help but wonder how he spends his free time. For his F/W 2012 show the models rose from coffins reanimated by their love of fashion. Playing with anatomic modification was a big theme in this collection as it often is for Browne. Geometric structures emphasized bodily joints inspired perhaps more from architecture than anything else. We also saw peeling, layering and draping executed with so much technique it could hardly be categorized as Ready to Wear.
