To kick of the start of the dance music season, check out Barcelona beat maker John Talabot’s remix of the XX’s Chained, for which he teamed up with fellow countryman Pional. 2012 marked the release of Talabot’s highly successful debut, ƒn, as well as a few notable remixes which he did with Pional (real name Miguel Barros). Keeping just the vocals from the 3 minute original, the Iberian duo take us through an 8 minute odyssey in their rich interpretation. You might recognize the synth loop from the Streets’ “Blinded By The Light” hence the remix’s name.
