The Standard Copenhagen‘s redesign as a “new cultural and gastronomic landmark” is another example of Denmark’s mastery in modern architecture. Danish restauranteur Claus Meyer and jazz musician Niels Lan Dorky teamed with Danish-Italian design duo, GamFratesi in the structure’s development, which houses three top-level restaurants and a jazz club.
The building’s interior reflects the classic, understated Nordic style, while contemporary pieces supplement a graphic contrast. Throughout the space numerous trees and mini gardens offer a well integrated use of fresh greenery.
