Donald Judd‘s idea of art is that art should be installed permanently. It comes into being with his home & studio on 101 Spring Street in New York which is now open to the public! He bought the property in 1968 and wanted to repair it not to change it. During years he was searching for furniture, art and object and began to settle permanent installations of his work and other artists’ work, which is now an amazing Donald Judd’s “permanent museum”! It is all about Judd’s art in its purest form in accordance with Judd’s state of mind: “Somewhere there has to be a place where the installation is well done and permanent.”
