Calling all food aficionados! London based gastronomic culture journal, The Gourmand, has just released their second issue and it is not to be missed. David Lane and Marina Tweed fully immerse readers in the artistic interpretation of all things food and bring them on a cultural journey. Lance curates stunningly creative images that will have any foodie foaming at the mouth. “O Gluttony! Divine Gluttony!” is a tantalizing photo essay of sensuous eats photographed by Gustav Almestål and styled by Niklas Hansen. The Gourmand celebrates the passion of food and informs on culinary happenings all over the world. This issue has a bit of an amorous theme with a feature from Holly Ellyatt exploring the historical references and relationships between food and sex. Paul Davis cleverly depicts cartoons of conversations while eavesdropping at various London restaurants. I especially appreciated Kyle Hugall sharing his comical experience with sea urchin in “A Monster from the Deep.” Food is the art of this generation and The Gourmand encourages you to activate your senses and come along for the ride.

beautiful work! posters for posterity!2
I like it. And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model. Now if steven photographed the same concept with average shmucks would we pay much attention to it? i dont think so. it'd be just another political journalistic photograph.3
i agree4
