‘The Art of Waiting’ Still Life Editorial

Based on ‘The Art of Waiting’ theme, this still life editorial by photographer Kate Anglestein have been styled and composed by Gemma Thérèse Pearce. Given a chewing gum, a mirror and an hourglass, the artists had a free hand to arrange the objects. Pearce’s still lifes feature a graphic narrative, visually inspired by artists such as Frida Kahlo, David Hockney and Alexander Calder, referencing to aging and an effort to retain beauty.
