This up and coming duo titled Tennis got hitched and headed for the Atlantic on their trusted sailboat: an 8 month journey, which would result in the creation of “Marathon” and a few other breezy hits. As the East Coast winds propelled their sails, Alaina Moore and her husband Patrick Riley set the perfect seaside tunes into motion.
On their return, the Denver-based couple had produced Tennis’ first album, South Carolina–the product of their aquatic pilgrimage. They may also be partly responsible for the catchy, 50’s feel circulating through blogs and indie radio alike, at the moment. What a beautiful love-child.
