It is my favorite time of year again and it’s not Fashion Week! It is getting to be close to the end of school semesters and final design projects. All the design schools worldwide have already started showcases student projects in different departments. Featured here are a select group of chairs from “Take a Seat”,

the Parsons Sophomore Product Design Students Exhibition, showcasing seating prototypes incorporating plywood components and structural form. The students had 10 weeks to complete these chairs. The chairs are on display in the main Parsons building window through the 23rd of May, 2011.
