Mary Katrantzou F/W 2012 collection was by far one of the most varied and visually dynamic collections of London Fashion Week.

It’s not only about the initial ‘bang’ of the prints but the details you find on your second, third and fourth glances. Each and every piece appears to have endless layers, tapering and unique tailoring.

Basso and Brooke are known for their prints. For their F/W 2012 collection the duo balanced collaged geometric prints with a less abrasive silhouette. Following up on a Trend we recently reviewed about Pattern Mixing, you should see the Suno Fall 2009 Collection. With their second collection Suno is going strong on the colors and African inspired textiles. After creating their samples in NY, they send them to Kenya where the garments are  produced in small workshops by artisans. This collection is inspired by a mix of East African and downtown NY women. Girls you are lucky! I would love to see a cool African inspired collections for Men.
