Derrick Santini‘s portfolio reaches fashion, music, art, and advertising. His belief that “you have to make a statement” is apparent in his work. His signature lighting is achieved predominantly without flash because he loves daylight but “you have to find the beauty in darkness too.” Derrick has worked with several rock and rap heavyweights such as Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Lil Kim and Lily Allen.

Seems like countless magazines are telling me that fashion hats are back. This news, along with Halloween coming up, made me remember that it’s been about 6 months since Isabella Blow, who rocked the coolest and most avant-garde hats, passed away. Along with being an international style icon, director, and muse, she discovered model Sophie Dahl and designer Alexander McQueen.Though she is no longer with us , her mark on fashion continues.
