After skipping last year’s festivities, I am excited to be headed back to the desert for Coachella 2013 (and hoping 2pac will make another appearance).
When one thinks of a “modernist” space, one tends to think in terms of “above the equator”. Tropical space design has been synonymous with everything but “modernist”.
Viennese artist Florian Pumhösl considers his works to be set at the edge between art, archival research, and critic thinking. His hyper graphic and modernist series shown here is synthetic resin lacquer on reverse of sheet glass. I love the minimalistic lines that fill his frame.
