So who is this gatekeeper that is helping make or break new and old designers alike&#8230;Apparently high-end Chicago retailer <strong>Ikram Goldman</strong>, owner of <a
href="http://ikram.com/" target="_blank">Ikram boutique</a>, is the woman standing between the first lady and the fashion world.  Ms. Goldman was the main person with whom designers commissioned to submit sketches for Michelle Obama’s inaugural weekend wardrobe had any contact with.   While some see this as a negative departure from previous first ladies who have gone directly to the designers of their interest, having a fashion savvy stylist guarding Ms. Obama’s wardrobe could open the door for up and rising stars like <a
