Hermione De Paula presents her Fall/Winter 2012 collection entitled ‘Marguerite’s Menagerie’. The London designer centers her inspiration each season on a ‘unconventional female character and each of the pieces possess a sensual magnetism that appear in accordance to the new muse’. This seasons we see her signature use of hand painted, unusual floral prints alongside monkeys, exotic birds and fish with detailed bead and feather embellishments. The color palette of deep reds, tonal pinks, peach, exotic blues and purple compliment the designer’s mix of traditional English craftsmanship with playfulness and individuality.

Dutch Designer Thomas Voorn new Collection Coming Home A/W 08 is interesting, he is definitely trying to pass a message and make you remember it, I would say that traditionally feminine prints and colors are mixed to create a new masculinity aka the Metrosexuality – The lookbook is strong and is not really showing the collection but you can definitely have a vibe of it – Apperently Thoma’s Collection are just tops And I would love to see how is the fits…
