The Madrileña artist Carmen Garcia Huerta has two really distinct styles of illustrations and its really interesting to see the difference between her clean airbrush style compare to her rough and artsy style (below), I personally really like both, but I’m sure some of you have a preference. UK based illustrator Francesca Wadell has a perfect style for trend illustrations & mood boards . Her style is to combine old sschool ink with photoshop. I love how she draws perfume bottles like the one she did for the newly launched Vogue Turkey (see below).
If you ask me, what is a French Style illustration, I would tell you that the work of Carine Brancowitz is close to the perfect example. I don’t know if its her colors, her characters or their styles, but for me its really French and oh so stylish! Love it!
I really like Alec Strang’s Fashion Illustrations. They remind me a bit of Laura Laine‘s work but with a more artsy/darker style.
